at&t have decided to buy out t-mobile from the Dutch Telecom for $39 billion!! Both companies have agreed on the terms however they must wait for the regulatory decision made by the government. If this acquisition goes through it will be the biggest carrier in the US, the major concern is that it there would be a monopoly in the GSM market in the US since at&t and t-mobile are the only ones this could be a reason to why it might not go through.
