Roberto Coin’s Giant Gold Table now on sale in Dubai

Unlike most gold and diamond covered curios that are merely made as proof of concept, this 24 karat Gold Table made by Roberto Coin is actually up for sale at the Wafi Mall in Dubai. There are actually a few pieces (its strictly limited edition) but it boggles the mind that there is more then one at all. The table top resembles a giant coin held up by four planks. The table is made from stainless steel and wood and then coated with a thick layer of 24 karat gold. The house hold help certainly wont mind wiping this table clean more then a few times a day.

As with all products from Roberto Coin, this table too has a hidden ruby inlaid into the table. The table is available for a retail price of $48,600 (~ AED 180,000). The gold in question is not simply plated onto the table but carefully applied by hand. According to the designer, this gives the table a luster that is simply not possible by electro-plating.

Without being completely restricted, a baby will still be able to move their arms towards their chin, which is important for their bone growth and muscle development during their sleep. This position will further prevent bubs from scratching and startling during their sleep cycles.

Dummy retrieval isn’t possible with the Sleepy Wings in this position.

وذلك لامكانية تسببها بالضرر على الصغار حيث تطلب ايكيا من عملائها ممن اشتروا خيمة الأطفال القابلة للطي ان يبعدوا الأطفال عن اللعب بها وأن يعيدوها الى معرض ايكيا واستعادة قيمتها فورا. ظهرت ثلاث حالات توضح انكسار السلك المعدني الموجود في الاطارات الخارجية للخيمة وبالتالي تمزيق قماش الخيمة حيث تبين اصابة طفيفة لاحد المستخدمين.

وبلغ ايكيا ان هناك حالتين انكسر فيمها السلك المعدني ومزق قماش الخيمة خارجاً منه، غير أنه لم يتم تسجيل أية اصابات

وتباع خيمة الأطفال في جميع الأسواق التي توجد فيها ايكيا وذلك من الأول منذ أغسطس 2011.

Evian's Design Bottle by Courreges

Evian has this year partnered up with French fashion designer Courreges to imagine a new limited edition bottle. This design combines evian's free-minded spirit with the House of Courreges' nonconventional creativity.
Courreges, approaching the eve of its 50-year anniversary, is known for pioneering key trends though the decades, from having discovered pants for women in 1963 to starting the mini-skirt revolution. The house of Courreges is driven by the will to free women from the classical conventions of fashion by developing new forms, implementing new materials and using vibrant colors.
The evian bottle by Courreges, launching globally September 8, features the design house's elegant white and pink emblematic flower (introduced in 1967) on the backdrop of evian's iconic glass bottle silhouette. Printed with organic ink for the first time, the bottle is composed of 100% recyclable packaging

To celebrate its launch in conjunction with Fashion's Night Out, evian will be introducing the bottle at Jeffrey New York and Colette in Paris, where the design will be on display.
The bottle will be available in select restaurants and hotels as of November 2011 and online at shop.evian.us for pre-order.
